New Parent Morning Tea - August 2026

Congratulations on your new arrivals! And welcome back to those of you with families of older multiples! We'd love to welcome you to our next MBAWA New Parent Morning Tea.   If you're a parent, guardian, or support person to a family of twins, triplets or higher-order multiples with little ones, this is a great chance to connect with others who understand the unique joys (and challenges!) of life with multiples.   Join us for a relaxed morning of conversation, support, and a snacks in a friendly, welcoming environment. Whether you're expecting your first outing, looking for advice, or simply keen to meet other parents who "get it", we'd love to see you.   📅 Date: Sunday, 9th August 2026 🕙 Time: 10:00 am – 12:00 pm 📍 Venue: Agnes Walsh House, King Edward Memorial Hospital, Subiaco   Age: Aimed at young kids (0-2 years old) but older siblings and multiples are welcome (bring your own entertainment for older kids). Cost: Free!   ☕ Tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided. ❤️ Partners, grandparents and other support people are warmly welcome to attend.   Please RSVP by booking your tickets through the link below. While the event is free, booking helps us prepare for everyone attending. Are you currently expecting twins? Triplets? Higher order multiples? The Multiple Birth Association of Western Australia (MBAWA) would like to invite you to its next Expectant Parent meet-up. When: 9th August 1-3pm Where: Agnes Walsh House, King Edward Memorial Hospital, Subiaco This event is an opportunity to meet other parents expecting multiples, hear from and ask questions to a current parent of twins, and learn about how the Multiple Birth Association can support parents with multiples! This is an in-person FREE EVENT, you do not need to be a member to attend. All welcome - parents/guardians/grandparents/support persons. Tea/coffee and light snacks provided. 🌟🌟 SPECIAL EVENT | Friends & Family of the Multiple Birth Association WA 🌟🌟 The Volunteering Committee of the Multiple Birth Association for WA, would like to invite our Members, along with their family and friends, for a special event to be held at Axo's Playland in Balcatta. We will have exclusive venue hire of Axo's, which caters for children up to the age of 13 years old! Come along with your family and friends, and meet other members of your local multiple birth association, for a wonderful afternoon where our kids can have exclusive access at the newly renovated Axo's Playland!    THE DETAILS: Date: Sunday 16th August 2026  Time: 4:30pm to 6:30pm Location: Axo's Playland (6 Halley Road, Balcatta WA 6021) Cost: $6.30 per person (free entry for babies under 12 months) Venue Information: Axo's Playland is a fully air-conditioned, clean and spacious indoor play centre that caters for children up to 13 years old. The play areas include**: Baby Toddler ball pit, horn slide, Ninja course, LED slides, role play hospital, role play fire truck and four level climbing frame!!   More information for Axo's Playland is available here: https://www.axosplayland.com.au  **venue entertainment accurate at time of publishing this event.   PLEASE NOTE: *Tickets can only be purchased by a MBAWA Member with a current membership, please add your family and friends to your order. *When selecting your tickets please add one for each person attending, for either a "Member" or "Friends & Family" attendee for the appropriate ticket age. Please note this includes babies under 12 months which are free.  *Bring your own socks as they MUST be worn by everyone (children & adults) within the play equipment areas, this includes babies under 12 months. Socks may be purchased from the venue directly for $3 a pair. *The venue caters for up to 260 guests. Due to venue capacity limits, tickets are available on a first come first served basis. Ticket sales close on Thursday 13th August 2026, unless sold out earlier. *Please note Axo's Playland has a ratio of a maximum of 4 children per one 1 supervising adult.
