Dear MBAWA Members, You are warmly welcomed to our upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). The AGM is an important event for our Association. It is a formal meeting which provides a chance for all members of our Association to come together and hear about what has been achieved in the past year and what our goals are for the coming year. We also present to you a financial report, detailing our income and expenditure for the previous year and our current financial position. All committee positions will be declared vacant at the AGM, and we encourage new volunteers to join our management committee. We can offer job share opportunities for each of the committee roles and we have committee members with experience that ranges from multiple years to several months. Hey lovely multiples families 💛 If your life currently involves answering to “Mum Dad!”, negotiating snack treaties, and pushing approximately one million wheels at once — this one’s for you. We’re putting together a super casual dinner for the members of MBAWA at the Pavilion Training Restaurant at North Metropolitan TAFE and would love for you to come along. Support the team of students who helped out at the Easter Picnic. No agenda. No fundraising pitch. No name tags with “fun facts.” Just a relaxed night with people who truly understand the chaos of raising twins, triplets (or more), swapping stories, having a laugh, and eating a meal while it’s still warm. 📍 Pavilion Training Restaurant – North Metro TAFE 📅 12th June 🕕 630pm Sharp (it runs like a classroom!) 💵 Pay your own way  - $35 dollars for an entree, main and dessert (the students might even throw in a drink for us!) Whether you’re deep in the newborn trenches, navigating double toddler energy, or wondering how you accidentally raised tiny identical negotiators — you’re welcome here. Come as you are: tired, overstimulated, surviving on iced coffee and crumbs from someone else’s toast. We get it. We’d love to see you there. 🌭 Volunteers Needed – Bunnings Sausage Sizzle Fundraiser! 🌭 We are looking for volunteers to help at our upcoming Bunnings Sausage Sizzle fundraiser! It’s a fun way to support our community, meet great people, and help raise funds for a great cause.   📍 Location: Bunnings Subiaco, 55 Salvado Road
 📅 Date: Sunday 7th June
 ⏰ Time: slots available from 7:30am - 4:30pm. Please select the "ticket" to book your volunteer spot.  We need help with: * Cooking sausages & onions  * Serving customers * Taking payments * Setup and pack down No experience is needed, just bring a positive attitude, a hat and comfortable shoes! Whether you can help for a few hours or the whole day, your support makes a huge difference. Any questions? Are you currently expecting twins? Triplets? Higher order multiples? The Multiple Birth Association of Western Australia (MBAWA) would like to invite you to its next Expectant Parent meet-up. When: 31st May 1-3pm Where: Agnes Walsh House, King Edward Memorial Hospital, Subiaco This event is an opportunity to meet other parents expecting multiples, hear from and ask questions to a current parent of twins, and learn about how the Multiple Birth Association can support parents with multiples! This is an in-person FREE EVENT, you do not need to be a member to attend. All welcome - parents/guardians/grandparents/support persons. Tea/coffee and snacks provided. Please come and join us at the next MBAWA New Parent Morning Tea, on Sunday 31st, May 2026. The New Parent Morning Tea (bubs 0-2 years) is a wonderful opportunity to meet with other parents of multiples in a very relaxed and informal setting, and enjoy a cup of tea.  The morning tea will be held at Agnes Walsh House, of King Edward Memorial Hospital in Subiaco from 10:00am - 12:00 noon. It is free to attend.  Please follow the link to book your place (there is no cost, but it allows us to see who is coming). Afternoon Tea Volunteer Celebration On behalf of the Multiple Birth Association WA and Tiny Sparks WA, you are warmly invited to a co-hosted celebration honouring the incredible individuals who have supported and strengthened our community over the years. This special event is an opportunity for you to join us as we recognise and celebrate past and present volunteers of our organisations. Your dedication, generosity, and time have made a lasting difference to so many families. This celebration has been made possible through the generous support of Lotterywest and Volunteers WA and is being hosted during National Volunteer Week 2026.   Event details:  Date: Friday 22nd May, 2026 Time: 2:00pm - 4:00pm (Formalities will commence at 2:45pm) Location: King Edward Memorial Hospital, Car Park 5, Hensman Road Subiaco (Alternative location will be in place in case of rain) Ticketing Information: When securing your free ticket, please secure one per person and nominate if you are a guest of Tiny Sparks WA or Multiple Birth Association WA.
