🐣You're Invited to the MBAWA Annual Easter Picnic!🐣 It's that time of year again, our Annual Easter Family Picnic! Join us for a fun-filled morning with activities for the whole family.   Event Details: Date: Sunday, 22nd March Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM Location: GO Edwards Park, 173 Burswood Rd, Burswood WA 6100 Entry: $6.30 per person, babies under 12 months free.   What’s Happening on the Day? Get up close with adorable animals from the Swan Valley Cuddly Animal Farm Face painting  Enjoy free play with a variety of lawn games Dedicated play zones for tiny tots and toddlers by Tumble Tots Massages for parents and adults by Corporate Hands A free juice box for every child Easter eggs for kids with chocolate to go around for everyone! Perk Up With Me coffee van will be on site with their delicious coffee GO Edwards Park features a fantastic playground, perfect for kids to enjoy heaps of outdoor fun during the picnic. There is free parking around the park area and lots of space for your picnic rugs, prams, and wagons.   What to Bring: Picnic rug, additional food and drinks (no alcohol permitted)   Ticketing Information: When purchasing your tickets, please include one for each family member attending. Adult tickets are limited to two per family, with an option to purchase two additional  tickets for grandparents or support persons if needed. No need to print your tickets—just check in at the registration table to receive your wristbands and your children’s juice boxes! Our small ticket price increase reflects the introduction of a small booking fee to help cover online transaction costs, which the Association has absorbed until now. We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support. MBAWA operates solely on the support of our financial members—thank you for being a part of our community! Expecting multiples?? Please join us for an opportunity to hear parents of multiples share their tips and stories on preparing for your multiples' arrival, as well as meet other expectant parents. Bring your questions and queries and hopefully they can be answered! Tea/coffee and snacks provided. This is a free event and you do not need to be a member to attend. Please reserve a ticket for each adult attending.   Any queries? Email expectant@mbawa.org.au  

Please come and join us at the next MBAWA New Parent Morning Tea, on Sunday 22nd February 2025. The New Parent Morning Tea (bubs 0-24 months) is a wonderful opportunity to meet with other parents of multiples in a very relaxed and informal setting, and enjoy a cup of tea.  The morning tea will be held at Agnes Walsh House, of King Edward Memorial Hospital in Subiaco from 10:00am - 12:00 noon. It is free to attend.  Please follow the link to book your place (there is no cost, but it allows us to see who is coming). Please make sure you book enough tickets for all adults and babies attending (so two parents and triplets would be 5 tickets).  If you book tickets and no longer attend can you please email let us know via email newparent@mbawa.org.au Looking forward to seeing you all there. ~ 2026 Multiple Birth Association for WA New Year Event ~ The Volunteering Committee, together with the Multiple Birth Association for WA, would like to invite you to our exclusive members-only new year event to be held at The Beach House Kids Fun Centre! Come along with your multiples, meet other members of your local multiple birth association and connect with like-minded families who simply...get what it's like raising multiples. THE DETAILS Date: Sunday 18th January 2026  Time: 4:30pm to 6:30pm Location: The Beach House Kids Fun Centre (6 Halley Road, Balcatta WA 6021) Cost: $6 per person (free entry for babies under 12 months) Venue Information: The Beach House is a fully air-conditioned, clean and spacious indoor play centre that caters for children up to 12 years old. The play areas include* a dedicated babies and toddlers section (0-3 years), a large building blocks area, bouncy castles, a ride-on track, and for the older children various arcade games such as driving, basketball machines and air hockey and much more! The onsite cafe within The Beach House will be open for our event with a full cafe menu on offer. Alternatively, families are welcome to bring your own food and beverages for the duration of the event (no alcohol is permitted).  More information on The Beach House Kids Fun Centre is available here: https://thebeachhousebalcatta.com.au *venue entertainment accurate at time of publishing this event. PLEASE NOTE *Bring your own socks as they MUST be worn by everyone within the play equipment areas, this includes babies under 12 months. Socks may be purchased from the venue directly for $3 a pair. *The venue caters for up to 250 guests. Due to venue capacity limits, tickets are available on a first come first served basis. Ticket sales close on Wednesday 14th January 2026, unless sold out earlier. *When selecting your tickets please add one for each family member attending, this includes babies under 12 months.  Got a question? There will be a women's health physiotherapist with us on the day to speak about post-partum exercise and physique, so bring along any questions for them.
