It is free to attend. We will also have a physio in attendance to check your abdominal muscles and talk to you one on one about post pregnancy health and exercise. Come along to our Expectant Parent Meeting!  It is an opportunity to hear parents of multiples share their tips and stories on preparing for your multiples arrival, as well as meet other expectant parents. Tea/coffee and snacks provided. This is a free event and you do not need to be a member to attend. Places are limited to 18 adults due to covid restrictions.

Please join us for our annual family Christmas picnic. There will be fun for all ages!  We are holding the picnic at a new location - Taylor's Reserve in Victoria Park and we have booked out the whole reserve. Not only will we have more space, but there is plenty of free parking for everyone just meters from the picnic on either side of the reserve. Whats happening on the day... * Bouncy castles * Cuddly animal farm * Pony rides * Garden games * Tumble tots * Princesses and superheroes doing face painting & bubbles * Massages for parents * Free wood fired pizza and a drink for all our guests. There is no need to print your tickets, just present yourself and family at the welcome table to receive your wrist bands to enjoy the festivities.  Please note all entertainment, pizza & cold drink will be provided to members at no cost. Additional pizzas will be available for purchase if required. Photo Day Saturday September 19th MBAWA together with Michelle Sparkes Photography are able to offer MBAWA members the opportunity to have professional photos taken at a fraction of the normal cost.  The sessions cost just $20 and includes a free A4 print!  Package details in above image, all packages and prints have either a postage option or collection from the MBAWA Rooms at Agnes Walsh House. Please note your Multiples must be at least 12wks old to be photographed as sessions run for only 20 minutes. 

Expectant Parent Meeting - 11.00 to 1.00pm The expectant parent meeting is an opportunity to hear from other multiple parents share their tips and stories on preparing for your multiples arrival, hospital stays and bringing your babies home.  We will discuss what you might need more than one of, what you might be able to do before your babies arrive, what to prepare, how to manage visitors and general tips on how to get out of the house on your own with babes in tow. The expectant parent meeting is free and you do not need to be a member to attend. Breastfeeding workshop runs from 1.30pm to 3.30pm, which you do need to be a member to attend. The workshop is run by a lactation consultant whom gives advise on how to breastfeed your multiples.  Topics discussed include equipment, tandem feeding and other tips.  Cost of the breastfeeding workshop is $30.00 per family.  

Did you know up to 30 percent of children experience some form of childhood sexual abuse? This isn’t just some statistic. This is real kids, with real lives and real aspirations and futures. Luckily, our Safe4Kids Parents Information course will provide YOU with the tools and the confidence to talk to your children about their safety in both their online (and offline!) worlds. Nobody wants to EVER imagine any kind of abuse happening to their child - it’s too abhorrent to even think about, right? But the fact is abuse DOES happen, and if we don’t know how to talk to our children about it – then we are simply not prepared enough as parents. Do you know what to do (or say) if your child discloses some form of abuse? (Don’t worry – we give you these tools in the course!) MBAWA & Holly-ann Martin from Safe 4 Kids are pleased to bring you an online Protective Behaviours course that can be completed at your own pace from the comfort of your own home.  This course is usually $47 but MBAWA is able to offer this to our members for only $5, thanks to our awesome fundraising efforts over the last 12 months!
