2023 MBAWA End of Year Event - The Beach House Balcatta The volunteering committee, together with the Multiple Birth Association for WA, would like to invite you to our members-only end of year event to be held at The Beach House. Come meet other members and join us for a fun afternoon out!   Date: Saturday 11th November 2023 Time: 3:30pm to 6pm (last entry at 5pm) Location: The Beach House, 6 Halley Road, Balcatta (near Cash & Carry) Venue Information: The Beach House caters for children up to 12 yrs old.  The play equipment includes* a three level climbing structure, bouncy castle, massive ride-on track, soccer tables, electric air hockey tables, arcade games such as basketball machines, multi-games machines, a massive toddler area, the bounty ride, a basketball hoop for parents and children to play together, a building blocks area and a 30m long flying fox. *current interactive activities on offer at time of printing The Beach House has a full cafe menu available and will be open during the event for your convenience. Alternatively, families are welcome to bring your own food and beverages for the duration of the event.   PLEASE NOTE: *Due to venue capacity restrictions this is a limited ticket event. Tickets are limited to 250 adults and children (babies under 12 months are not included). *Ticket sales will close on Tuesday 7th November unless sold out earlier. *Socks MUST to be worn by everyone within the play equipment area, this INCLUDES babies under 12months. Photo Day Saturday 14th October MBAWA together with Moments by Tia Johnson are able to offer MBAWA members the opportunity to have professional photos taken at a reduced rate as well as supporting our association, with Moments by Tia Johnson donating 10% of all print sales back to MBAWA The sessions cost just $150 and include a 20 minute session & 5 high resolution digital images of your choosing from an online gallery. There are options to purchase additional digital images or prints if you wish.  Tia's regular session fee is $250 so this is a unique opportunity to have professional photos of your family at an affordable price. Upon booking you will pay a $25 retainer fee directly to MBAWA, you will receive an email from Moments by Tia Johnson with a short questionaire to complete, an agreement to sign and an invoice to pay the $125 balance which is due at least 1 week prior to the photo day for your session to be confirmed. Please note any babies must be able to sit with assistance to be photographed as sessions run for only 20 minutes. Two generations of family only please. Contact Tia to discuss booking a private extended family session.

Expecting multiples?? Please join us for an opportunity to hear parents of multiples share their tips and stories on preparing for your multiples' arrival, as well as meet other expectant parents. Bring your questions and queries and hopefully they will be answered! Tea/coffee and snacks provided. This is a free event and you do not need to be a member to attend.  

Please come and join us at the next MBAWA New Parent Morning Tea, on Saturday 26 August 2023.  The New Parent Morning Tea (bubs 0-24 months) is a wonderful opportunity to meet with other parents of multiples in a very relaxed and informal setting, and enjoy a cup of tea.  The morning tea will be held at Agnes Walsh House from 10:00am - 12:00 noon. The AGM is an important event for our Association. It is a formal meeting which provides a chance for all members of our Association to come together and hear about what has been achieved in the past year and what our goals are for the coming year. Please join us for our annual family Easter picnic. There will be fun for all ages!  We are holding the picnic at McCallum Park in Victoria Park, with so much space and plenty of free parking for everyone just meters from the picnic on either side of the reserve. What's happening on the day... * Garden games * Tiny tots zone * Face painting  * Massages for parents * Free treat & cold drink for all  * Cuddly animal farm There is no need to print your tickets, just present yourself and family at the welcome table to receive your wrist bands to enjoy the festivities.  Please note all entertainment & cold drink vouchers will be provided to members at no cost.  This year we encourage members to BYO a picnic. There will be a coffee van in attendance too for those needing a caffeine fix. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated back to MBAWA. Our vendors all accept cash or card payments.  Please bring some cash to support our raffle and guess the easter eggs fundraising game! Ticketing update: When selecting your tickets please add one for each family member attending. You will notice this year, adult tickets have been limited to 2 adults. An additional 2 Adult tickets can be purchased for grandparents/ support person. These additional tickets will attract a small fee of $5 each.
